Do you have a damaged lawn? If drought, disease, insects, or construction have destroyed your lawn, Dream Greener has the repair solution for you.
Grass needs water to survive and when we experience a shortage of water or drought, this stresses or damages the plant. Grass is especially vulnerable to drought stress when high temperatures join the lack of water. Grass will deal with this by going dormant. Most turf grass can stay dormant for at least 3 to 4 weeks without dying.
Devastation can also be caused by turf disease. The interaction between a susceptible plant, the disease pathogen and a favorable environment promotes this development. Disease is prevalent when weather or site conditions become favorable. Insects also wreak havoc on turf grass.
If your turf looks damaged, wilted or water starved, insects may also be the culprit. Of course, people damage lawns with cars and machine made tires tracks and ruts. Construction projects may also require repairs.
We have a variety of processes and methods available to solve this dilemma including slice-seeding, over-seeding, hydro-seeding, top-dressing and sod.
Do you have a new lawn or bare dirt? We build lawns from the ground up with a newly graded soil base followed by the installation of turf via sod or seed.
Sodding involves transplanting turf that has been grown by an expert. This turf is rolled out and laid on the ground. Sod is the most expensive because you are paying for the expert to grow and care for this grass. Sod is significantly more expensive than seed but yields quicker results. With sod you go from dirt to turf all in a day.
However, seed takes time and involves a growth period. With seed the best time to plant is in the fall and you must wait to get thick lush turf. Bluegrass and fescue are the most common grasses grown in our area. Whatever the cause may be we’re ready to solve your lawn turf problems.
